Ways you can support GFF

Gainesville Farm Fresh is a community resource to bring together all aspects of local food resurces in the greater Gainesville area. This is an extensive project, requiring many hours of accumulating information and processing it in a matter that is useful to our community.

The best support of course is your participation by becoming a member of this site and taking advantage of its resources. As farmers and growers you can submit your farm information and let the community become familiar with your contribution to our local food economy. Organizations can supply information for the public to see and participate in your efforts to support local food. Members can take advantage of the Farm Fresh Food Network and share ideas, concerns and helpful information that will benefit sustainable agriculture in our area.

As this site grows, information will increase and I ask your patience as it grows to maturity. I can always use help and advice with:

  • Software coding ( PHP MySQL )
  • Your suggestions
  • Content editing! My hands are best suited to the soil not to a computer keyboard.
  • Accumulating data for farms, markets, organizations, community gardens, restaurants and other resources
  • Photographs of resources
  • Marketing: Spread the word about Gainesville Farm Fresh

Eventually a newsletter is going to be established for Gainesville Farm Fresh and your input will be welcomed.

Thank you to the folks who have been in touch with me and encouraged, as well as supported , the efforts of GFF.
